Thanksgiving is upon us. It is the one day in the year set apart to express our gratitude for all the good things in our lives. It is a day for family and friends to celebrate each other. Of course, plenty of food is part of the tradition.

Many, if not most, of us have issues in our lives. If we are not mindful, these issues can dominate our thoughts, bring us down, and diminish our true blessings.

I am reminding the Lead One Community to stay focused on the positive things in your life. When we take the time to reflect on all the good, that alone will bring some joy in the midst of our circumstances. I do not intend to be insensitive to trauma, financial issues, family problems, etc. None of us are exempt from that part of life.

However, our blessings are also present. Let’s be more intentional during this season in expressing gratitude for our blessings.

Our family, friends, and country are all worth the Thanksgiving celebration. Not too preachy, but every day is a blessing and one to be grateful for.

Wishing all the best to you, your family, and your friends as you celebrate with Gratitude.
